Dmitriy "The Star of David" Salita is
the NABA junior welterweight champ after knocking
out Shawn Gallegos in the ninth round of a
scheduled 10-round fight at the Hammerstein
Ballroomin New York.

Salita is the first Jewish
champion since 1978 and is currently undefeated
with a record of 23-0 with 14 KOs.

Dmitriy is a religious Torah Observant Jew who
does not box on Shabbat.
