Wine-Pairing Shabbos Meals

For Grads and Young Alumni

We're taking Shabbos up a notch with gourmet dishes and expert wine pairings with each course. Come mingle with the 21+ crowd and give your taste buds a treat!
For those not interested in drinking wine, the culinary experience and company alone will be worth it.

There is a cover fee for the evening, but student hosts who bring 4 friends get to come on the house!

Jewish Heritage Programs (JHP)

Jewish Heritage Programs (JHP) have been running since 1993 at the University of Pennsylvania and consequently on a number of other college campuses and cities. The JHP model provides resources for social leaders to develop their own Jewish programming, recruit friends and build their own communities.

JHP Grads is a cohort of Jewish graduate students from across all of the graduate schools at Columbia. Individually and as a group, they organize events for graduate students and benefit from mentoring and networking opportunities with other students and Jewish professionals.

In order to receive the semester-based stipend, JHP Leaders attend monthly meetings and one retreat/shabbaton; plan and host one event per semester; participate at Chabad events; and support other JHP Leaders. It is an amazing way to meet people and be part of creating your own vibrant Jewish community!

Each semester we accept new applications to be a JHP Leader. Contact Chayim at chayim@chabadstudentcenter.com if you are interested!
